Unfortunately I don’t offer gift certificates. Because I'm just one person here, chief cook and bottle washer as they say, I’ve found I’m just not able to put in the effort required to keep track of them.
To be very frank, while you and I both feel like a special dinner is a fantastic idea, all too often the recipient is too busy to be able to nail down a date, or they put it off for a year, or just weren’t really interested, or they don’t answer my email/call/text. And then I’m left holding your money and feeling awkward.
But I don’t like to say no. So, all that being said, if you really feel like a gift certificate will work out well in your case, here’s how it has worked well for me in the past:
One more important note: Most often, gift certificates are for a dinner for two. Please note that, because my larger events are almost always on a weekend, I only schedule dinners for less than 6 guests on weekdays (including Fridays).
